Listen to a clip from our webinar "HR Trends in the Cannabis Industry," about how Miles uses the data that he gets from Wurk.
"I am hugely reliant on data that I pull out of the Wurk system. I use it on a daily basis. It's a huge part of what I do every day. For those of you not familiar with it, the Wurk system has this really great reporting function, which will allow you to pull data from anywhere in payroll or from employee profiles and sort of arrange it in whatever way you want. It's incredibly valuable. And you can also save report templates in it. So then you can call them up at a few keystrokes rather than having to put them together again.
So just to give some frame of reference, I currently have over 270 saved reports on my profile in the Wurk system. Only about, I would say 25 to 50 of those are in normal rotation, meaning I use them on a weekly or a monthly basis.
But it's just the volume of different ways. I've been able to put our information together over time so that I can get answers quickly. Either answers that I need or answers that management needs is just it's really a valuable tool in the export function to excel.
It's also really great. So I guess I would say the only other thing is that it's really, really great to be able to use this data to track everything from over time, things like meal penalties, labor compliance in that regard, TLM stuff, personal information of employees, if you need to put it together, like even for a company party or something, makes it super easy. And then also very important Fine-Grained labor data on costing over any time span. If you're looking at a single pay period or a quarter or a year, whatever the case may be, it's all really available there, and it is something I use constantly."
